I rarely see better stuff then this. For sure the best from all long-running anime. But also the story is very interesting.
Normally I don't like fillers but now I can't wait for the next episode. Well done, anime-team. Great celebration-filler arc for a great show.
The story is interesting? I'm liking this filler, but not because of the story, cause it's full of fuck. I think this should be in the Naruto TV section.
I think the plot is interesting yes. And I like the filler-characters, especially 'dat pornstar'. Naiad Active Member.
Dominus Active Member. The latest episode was nice Venerable Sage Moderator. I rate this filler arc as uneven in animation. Some of it is beautiful, but for some reason, the filler characters are receiving the better design and animation.
The Akatsuki members are sketchily rendered Hidan is especially poorly done and Kabuto is barely recognizable.
The style used in the rendering of the filler characters especially the female 'lead', with her huge, blood red lips does not match that of Kishi.
Story-wise I find it a mixed bag as well. I've quickly grown tired of crying children Mina--the little one with the psychic talent--is really getting annoying.
I do like the overall portrayal of Naruto: He has not been shown as slow witted or cowardly and his interaction with the children has been very sweet and in character.
Well, I do like the lead filler pair and their troubled romance. Especially fond of Dokku, as he is an unconventional hero in many ways.
